Modern Slavery Statement

Modern slavery, forced labour and human trafficking affect all too many sectors.

As a business consultancy working mainly within the social sector, Commercial Initiatives Ltd finds nothing more imperative than fair treatment of people and setting high standards. We ensure that people are treated fairly and that any employees are earning a living wage and are working in a safe environment.

As a small business consultancy, we have an extremely manageable employee structure, so can be sure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place. Also, due to our size and structure, we have an extremely limited supply chain.

Whilst we are not legally obliged to have a Modern Slavery Statement, we feel strongly that this is a matter for consideration. On a personal level we try to shop locally and ethically for consumables. Office supplies such as paper are sourced from a large retailer who have a mature stance on modern slavery, and printing, if required, is sourced from a local printing shop to reduce both environmental footprint and human rights impacts. With this approach Commercial Initiatives Ltd can carefully manage supply chain impacts.

Commercial Initiatives Ltd strives to ensure there are no adverse human rights impacts within its business practice and will continue to screen suppliers and partners to reduce risk of negative impact through association.
